Apply today and you could start as soon as this week. **As a PeopleReady associate you'll benefit from:** + Connections and experience with some of the top companies in your area + Great benefit package options + Get matched to jobs quickly + Competitive pay and steady schedule + The ability to see your schedule and track your hours right from our easy-to-use app, JobStack! **Pay Rate:** _The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour*_ **What you'll be doing as a Waste And Recycling Laborer:** + Ride on the back of a garbage collection truck, collecting solid waste on a designated route. + Direct the driver when pulling out into traffic and backing up, and guide incoming vehicles to the dumping area at solid waste disposal facilities + Have knowledge of standardized work routines for manual tasks and the operation of collection vehicles in solid waste operations + Check the operating and safety conditions of vehicles, perform minor servicing, and report needed repairs or maintenance + Assist the driver with various tasks during waste runs and be able to lift 100+ lbs many times throughout the day + Be able to work in all weather conditions + Labeling boxes to be shipped out for offsite storage.
