Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation services for shipments.
• Utilize transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine to track and manage shipments.
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of freight.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and update information in the system.
• Provide excellent customer service and phone etiquette when interacting with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient transportation planning and execution.
• Utilize AS400 and GIS software to assist in route optimization and tracking.
• Assist in resolving any transportation-related issues or delays.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems, such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers.
• Proficient in phone etiquette to provide exceptional customer service.
• Familiarity with freight logistics and transportation planning processes.
• Experience working with AS400 and GIS software for route optimization and tracking.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and update information in the system.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.

Experience:

• Van driver: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
