\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 3 x 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Full-time position with 2 open positions available
\n• Care for adult and pediatric patients in high acuity emergency department
\n• Handle designated stroke, STEMI, trauma, and resuscitation cases
\n• Work in regional advanced cardiac hospital setting
\n• One year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
\n• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
\n• Required certifications: Current BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), and TNCC
\n• Texas RN license or compact state license required
\n• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
\n• Precepted by designated trained staff member during initial on-boarding
\n• Must complete Emergency Department-specific competency validation
\n• Provide complex nursing care using nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation
\n• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
\n• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
\n• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families
\n• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
