Job Description

The opportunity:

This position is with the Sales IT Engineering team, where you will be developing software for the internal Configure Price Quoting (CPQ) Engineering team using the ServiceNow platform. The team is composed of passionate engineers who are both hungry and humble, and who take pride in writing clean, maintainable code and owning it end-to-end.

What you get to do in this role:

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
• Collaborate daily with a team of like-minded developers, product managers and quality engineers using agile software development methodology. 
• Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
• Work in a Scrum-based Agile development process that is light on documentation and meetings and heavy on coding 
• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
• 4+ years Hands-on experience developing software.
• Experience working on Service Now Platform required
• Experience in writing code in Java, JavaScript and OOP 
• Experience in JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns and object-oriented design .
• Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
• Strong analytical and design skills.
• Has high coding standards & can maintain them even under pressure 
• Understand Configure Price Quoting (CPQ) domain (highly desirable)
• This role requires a minimum of 2 days in office in our Addison (Dallas), TX office.
