🏗️ Commercial Superintendent – Justice Facility Construction

📍 Location: Columbia, SC 🕒 Full-Time | On-Site

We're seeking a Commercial Superintendent with extensive experience constructing detention centers, correctional institutions, jails, or prisons . 🔨 Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations on a large-scale justice facility project
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Enforce site safety protocols and compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve issues
• Maintain detailed documentation of site activities and progress
• Lead site meetings and ensure alignment across all trades
• Monitor quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications

✅ Requirements :

• Must have experience building detention centers, jails, prisons, or institutional facilities
• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project momentum
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Willingness to be on-site full-time in Columbia, SC
