Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 2 to join our team at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital , located in New London, CT . This community-based hospital has an average daily census of 225 beds, and Sodexo supports both patient dining and retail food services onsite.
As the Patient Services Manager 2 , you will play a vital role in overseeing patient meal service operations, ensuring excellent customer service, quality food presentation, and compliance with regulatory standards. You will report to the Area General Manager and lead a team of approximately 25 frontline employees, driving performance through effective leadership, coaching, and staff engagement. This is an evening shift with rotating weekends .
Oversee all aspects of patient meal services including bedside meal ordering and service delivery.
Conduct daily patient rounding to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and resolve concerns in real time.
Collaborate with culinary and retail teams to support a 7-day cafeteria operation, including a rotating entrée menu, salad bar, and grab-and-go offerings.
Provide leadership during evening shifts, generally working a schedule that starts between 11:00am – 12:00pm and concludes by 8:00pm (hours may vary per needs of business).
Support departmental initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
