Security Guard Unarmed $23.39

The Whitehawk Worldwide is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. The company is currently seeking to hire Security Guards - Unarmed for a federal contract at Fort Meade, MD

Responsibilities

• Operate and provide written and oral status reports on specialized security equipment to include but not limited to x-ray machines, metal detectors, electronic security system components, handheld, and fixed detectors.
• Perform access control by verifying and validating requested permissions to enter/exit all identified access control points.
• Perform security related administrative duties identified within the SOP at all identified facility access control points.
• Perform key control, access control measures, patrols and procedures.
• Validate the security of access points leading into restricted/classified areas.
• Security Guards will be required to operate Government owned utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) or General Service Administration (GSA) leased vehicles in the performance of contractual duties. 
• Perform magnetometer and x-ray inspections at the entry control points IAW post orders and client policy.

Qualifications
 
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 21 years of age
• Must be US citizen (native born or naturalized)
• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent or higher education
• Able to pass a physical exam/drug screen
• Must have a clean record for a federal background investigation
• Must have a clean driving record and possess a valid driver's license at all times
• Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc.
