The Critical Care - Intensivist Physician provides specialized, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in intensive care units across a hospital system. This role requires board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine and significant experience or training in managing high-acuity medical, surgical, and cardiopulmonary cases. The position is PRN with flexible scheduling, involving collaboration with multidisciplinary ICU teams in a hospital setting.
Northside Hospital is seeking experienced and dedicated Critical Care Physicians to provide PRN coverage across our system-wide Intensive Care Units. Physicians in this role will deliver high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill medical, surgical, and cardiopulmonary patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary ICU teams.

Position Type: PRN / Independent Contractor
MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine AND fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
Current Georgia medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
Current DEA registration.
Proficiency in all standard critical care procedures.
Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
Prior ICU experience preferred; new graduates with strong training backgrounds are welcome to apply.
PRN / As Needed —flexible shift availability across the Northside system.
Opportunities for day, night, and weekend shifts.
