Job Title: Event Bartender

Location: Various event venues as assigned; travel to on-site event locations is required

Job Summary:
We are looking for personable, skilled, and reliable Event Bartenders to join our event team. The Event Bartender will be responsible for setting up and operating temporary bar stations at a variety of events, including weddings, private parties, corporate functions, and large-scale celebrations. You will craft beverages, interact with guests, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient bar environment while providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and break down portable bar stations at event venues.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to recipes and event specifications.
• Check identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and act in accordance with responsible service practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area throughout the event.
• Restock bar supplies as needed during service.
• Provide excellent guest service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Coordinate with event staff and managers to ensure smooth beverage service.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

• Prior bartending experience, preferably in a catering or event setting.
• Knowledge of a wide range of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the operating state or region.
• Must have or be willing to obtain required certifications (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 40 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to various event locations.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

• Flair bartending or mixology skills are a plus.
• Experience handling bar inventory and setup logistics.
• Bilingual abilities may be beneficial in diverse event settings.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced event environments with indoor and outdoor venues.
• Varying hours depending on event schedule, including late nights.
