Responsibilities And Qualifications

Provides subject matter expertise for Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. Provides expertise in requirements gathering, design, coordination, testing and support of customer BI reporting and analytic needs. Assists Project Manager in the development of project plans. Collaborates with business process owners, technical staff and project manager to leverage the use of data and data strategies across a full spectrum of business/operational needs. May lead the execution of feasibility studies to assess cost/benefit, efficiency and technical viability of solutions to business problems. Provides necessary data elements and business knowledge to support the design and development of data models. May lead the integration efforts for merging BI platforms with enterprise systems and applications. Employs data warehouse analysis and design experience, with knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling.

Specifically, The Business Analyst will work under the direction of management to perform some or all the following:

  • Documenting operations performed by end users, system operators, and system maintainers including periodic, scheduled maintenance.
  • Documenting all hardware and software maintenance support actions and licenses required to successfully provide O&M support.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the policy, compliance, and baseline processes, and recommending adjustments to improve performance.
  • Assisting the application of an approved governance process for management of product development, deployment, and maintenance.

Required qualifications:

  • Currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph

Preferred qualifications:

  • ITIL 4 Foundations

  • Type of environment: Varies.

  • Work schedule: "Normal work hours" constitute on average 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week (excluding breaks and meal periods) within standard operational hours occurring 0600-1800, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
  • Amount of Travel: 20%.
