Job Title: Bartender
Location: Plymouth

Reports To: Bar Manager / Food & Beverage Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized bar area in compliance with all safety and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.

• Engage with guests, take drink and food orders, and provide recommendations when needed.

• Follow recipes and presentation specifications accurately.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area including restocking, cleaning, and sanitizing.

• Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age.

• Handle cash, credit, and room charges accurately and process transactions through the POS system.

• Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service.

• Maintain inventory levels and inform management of stock shortages.

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

• Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.

• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and liquor laws.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.

• High school diploma or equivalent; bartending training or certification preferred.

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol as per local regulations.
