Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Attorney who excels in written advocacy. This role specializes in drafting high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement demands. The ideal candidate combines strong legal knowledge with superior writing ability to craft persuasive legal arguments that advance our clients' interests.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft sophisticated legal documents, including complaints, motions for summary judgment, discovery motions, and briefs
• Prepare comprehensive and persuasive settlement demand packages
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case arguments
• Develop case strategies with a focus on the written presentation of claims
• Review and analyze medical records, expert reports, and other evidence
• Author internal case memoranda and client correspondence
• Collaborate with trial attorneys to prepare written materials for court
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant statutes, case law, and procedural rules
• Assist in editing and reviewing documents prepared by other team members

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active membership in good standing with the Nevada State Bar
• Experience in personal injury law
• Exceptional writing skills with a track record of effective legal drafting
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency with legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of Nevada court rules and procedures
• Experience with case management software
